Onitsuka Tiger Sneaker Design "Heritage Tabi"
Onitsuka Tiger wanted a shoe concept design that interpreted the brand’s existing design identity and language. I designed a heritage-inspired lifestyle sneaker concept that merges Onitsuka Tiger’s archival Marathon Tabi with the iconic Mexico 66 silhouette.

The footwear design consultancy/creative studio I'm working for Skye Design, collaborated with Onitsuka Tiger on brand-driven concept exploration. As part of this work, I led the design of Heritage Tabi 66, a lifestyle sneaker concept that reinterprets Onitsuka Tiger’s Japanese heritage for a modern audience. Drawing from archival references such as the Marathon Tabi and Mexico 66, the project focused on embedding heritage structurally through form, materials, and subtle storytelling details while maintaining everyday wearability.
