Co-built ScrollWell, a research-driven platform exploring how social media affects student mental health. The project included database architecture, live data visualizations, an interactive simulator, and a guided narrative experience — all built to make academic research accessible and engaging.


Role: Frontend development, data visualization, live API integration

Stack: HTML/CSS/JS, Chart.js, D3.js, PHP, MySQL


Key findings visualized:

  • 7+ hrs/day social media use = 40% drop in mental health scores

  • Nearly 2-hour nightly sleep gap between positive and negative outcome students

  • TikTok/Snapchat users report negative outcomes at 74–68% vs. LinkedIn at 38%

  • Interactive features: Platform comparison charts with slider filters, addiction score scatter plot, clickable world map, 6-chapter narrative walkthrough, 24-hour life simulator
